Ohio State: Working Your Best, From Home
COVID-19 stay at home orders happened right in the midst of Ohio State student’s spring break. Whether the students had made plans to go back home to visit family, spend time on the beach in Miami or take a trip internationally, they never expected for their world to be flipped upside down. Classes became virtual, graduations were canceled and job/internship offers were postponed due to the health and economic uncertainty caused by COVID-19.
On behalf of the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, I spoke with students about visualizing this time as an opportunity as opposed to an obstacle. I also provided 5 tips for students to remember while either entering the workforce or interning virtually:
